I have to say I like Mancini's 433. Got a metronome, a bigger defensive B2B in Locatelli, and a vertical runner and pressing trigger in Barella. FBs give both wide forwards the freedom to come inside.

Who selects these pundits ? Savage was so awkward in that Bale interview. And then there is Rio Ferdinand...he wanted to say "Mancini" and said "Man City", I lost it with laughter.

Manchester United is a fountain of ignorance. The football world is as bad at picking unqualified pundits as it is managers

Lol. I love a good own goal. That was quality. Can only be topped by a man sliding into the net after a shot.

Lame opening goal to the tournament. Berardi really almost never looks up ๐Ÿ˜†

Insigne still haven't kick on from his youth potential. Still very ineffective whenever someone show him the outside. Can only cut into a pool of players

I can't help but laugh when he gets on the ball, guy is so tiny.

So true

Accurate based on this game, but a bit unfair towards a guy who scored 20 league goals from the wing this season and probably is Napoli's most coveted player since Maradona.

He really is tiny though.

Calhanoglu is so average its not even funny to be linked with him.

NOW he finds it in him to score.

That's a really good finish in fairness. Not hard to score from that distance, but still.

Barella is the stuff of dreams

Don't know, everytime I watch him against a deeper defence he just struggles. He has low centre of gavity and great dribbling but don't use it enough. Can only cut in and shoot/cross. Most of the goals he scored this season were mainly on the counter and stat padding goals in big wins.

Every time I see him, his awareness and endeavor is clearly class and its matched with pretty technique. It doesn't translate to a completed cross, shot often enough. I'm happy for him though - getting a starting place. A stretch of trust should help.
Edit: deservedly gets a goal. Shitty I took him out of my lineup.

Forget that Veratti hasn't even featured. That midfield is looking royal.

Insigne will get more chances than Immobile and Berardi over the comp. Thats just a hunch, not a stretch either.

Yeah garbage Insigne

He's a little bit good.

Would start Cengiz รœnder next time. That was a nice curtain raiser from Azzurri. Some decent moments from Turkei too.
