Locatelli is a proper 2 way mid. Just look at his defensive positioning. Never get sucked into play. Great physique too. Barella is the better mid but even Locatelli feels out of reach now especially if Inter or Juve goes for him.

Berardi is definitely a level or two above Chiesa at the moment, not the other way around. His biggest issue is that he breaks way too often. Those hamstrings weren't made for cold weather and English shithouse tackles on hard, bumpy pitches. He'd average 15 starts per season outside Italy probably.

It was obvious he was class once he broke through at Milan with Cutrone. Was scoring worldies every now and then.

Milan traded him away for Bakoyoko though 😆

Locatelli has been fanastic in this game, but consider Jorginho's contributions to this team. Showing up Xhaka for what he is tonight.
