Like clockwork in his post match interview he said France wasn't the better team and Germany deserved at least a point. Kimmich said almost verbatim the same thing

Not like I'd ever cheer a team with so many Bayern dickheads in it but it's good to be reminded how graceless this team is. Hope they go out with zero goals and points

Its a very unlikeable German side. Plenty of years I'd have been happy to see the Germans win but now their players, their football, its all very unappealing.

Unfortunately it's the Fantasy league rather than betting. But under yellow cards and corners is generally good?

Was considering Shunin myself since Finland only need a draw to go through and likely won't even try to attack unless Russia score early. But yeah, Italy's defence is great.

Tbh the way VAR is used by Uefa is perfect. No nonsense measurements and unlimited replay.

So true, barely interferes with the game and when used it's used correctly.

Though it helps that real time decisions are also generally 1000 times better which reduces the need for interference.

I don't get why the offside rule gets so much hate. 'oh no we had to watch a superb disallowed Mbappe goal and suffer temporary excitement instead of being able to witness offside free kick 20 seconds earlier'.

The rule is hated and rightly so in England because of the way we use it here. And it's badly manipulated by the referee to fix decisions. You don't see inconsistent shit all the time elsewhere because videos are clear cut. Only in England can a high tackle be a red one day and not even a yellow tomorrow. Then a dangerous tackle not get checked at all but a little clip get replayed 450 times before playing on

I like that play is allowed to go on. It works both ways. A few legitimate goals have been possible when a linesman would have otherwise raised the flag.

That Finland disallowed goal is sad though. If Wenger's recommendation is followed it would be allowed as a large part of his body is onside. It's hard to score goals anyways in general. It just gives a bit of advantage to am attacker.
