You are correct it was Tapsoba we were after = I had the wrong name.
I thought I had read prior to the Euros that Kounde rejected us re no UCL and Leverkusen said they wouldn't talk for anything under 50-60m,
as it was the same price that came up during the Euros for Isak.

IMO signing Odegaard changes the need re RB, as we have the attack front5 sorted - KT, ESR, CF, MO & Saka with Pepe, Martinelli on rotation. I suspect the only way we look to sign an attacking RB is if we change shape, otherwise I mainly see the RB role as being more akin to either an inverted FB looking to linked up in a midfield3, or as staying with the CBs to form a back3 when KT goes forward.

As much as I want a CF who better fits the role Arteta wants I don't see it happening this summer, and I think PEA will be our starting CF playing in an advanced/pressing forward role, as PEA isn't suited to play a linking/false9 role and MO is more an Ozil playmaker type than being a Fabregas/Buendia type looking to make runs beyond the CF.

My #1 priority is CM to partner Partey & my 1st choice would be Sabitzer unless he has signed a new deal.

I think a right back is the priority, if not for an attacking outlet, to have someone who is comfortable on the ball and is capable of playing the possession game we want to

We need the whole package. Chambers is extremely comfortable on the ball and his passing is top notch, a couple of openings we created against Brentford were due to some incisive passing by him. He's quite poor one on one on both ends though and ultimately as a full back you need to have that ability.

Wouldn’t go as far to say he’s “extremely” comfortable on the ball. He can’t wriggle his way out of tight situations and struggles when pressed.
