I've never considered Chelsea a legitimate football club and the same goes for City. Nothing they have won has ever impressed me because it's all been cheating. They're not our rivals, they're a malignant cancer. I'm not sure why anyone needs a more nuanced opinion about them than that. Ideally they wouldn't exist, they'd be cut out before their rot spreads further. This coup attempt might just have brought us a little closer to that ideal which would be fantastic.
Same here.
My friends laugh and call me bitter, but until more people take this stance, nothing will change.
Chelsea without a doubt are the biggest factor in destabilising English football and inflating prices and wages across the board.
Of course, the shills at the Premier League were nowhere to seen, as “the money coming in will be great for the English game”.
Has it fuck.
This faux outcry is the very definition of hypocrisy. Small clubs have basically held players hostage until they get the vast sum they are looking for, yet they have no intention of paying their players the appropriate wages such sums would command.
The only reason the smaller clubs have complained, is because they were not in it.
The only reason UEFA, Premier League et al complained, is because they were not on the list of people lining their pockets.
Football has stood by and watched the Chelsea’s, City’s and PSG’s blow up football and do nothing about it. So all this crying needs to stop.
