At least the illusion that we are a classy club is dead. We've shown our true colours. Will we put out a group Twitter update saying Arsenal are proud to be one of the leading European clubs to dissolve the super League.

Exactly, the idea that these guys would have covered all angles and thought of everything was laughable. These are clubs who have run themselves into massive eye watering debt with calamitous decisions. This was an act of greed and desperation, not cunning.

There's a reason why City and Chelsea are the first to pull out, they don't need the money, so they don't need to put up with the PR grief.

It just confirms these American idiots don't have the first clue about football fans. I think the clubs deserve punishment, but Kroenke is not Arsenal. Does he get hurt by a points deduction? No. We the fans suffer the hurt, and this is not our fault. The owners need to be driven out, end of.

I don’t know the legality of docking teams points. As far as I’m aware, they didn’t do anything in contravention of the Premier League.

But the brazen nature of their heist does raise a lot of questions about the concentration of power. This might be the best thing that happens to English football if the other clubs in the Premier League and Championship use it constructively as a moment to re-envision football. Everything from how monies are distributed to the ownership models, how money is distributed.

One thing I would immediately force is a knockout contest for the champions league entry going forward, to break this Big 6 hold on the competition.
