Can't believe it. This club has been an embarassment on so many levels over the last few years, but this is the one that stings the most. A fucking midtable side not able to score a goal against Fulham for 95 minutes joining a "Super League" with the likes of Kroenke and the Glazers as vice-chairmen. These men know nothing about football, they don't give a shit about the clubs they own, about their history and their fans, they're just a bunch of greedy old cunts looking to earn some more millions for their vaults. Absolutely disgusting. I hope that as soon as fans are allowed back into the stadiums they fucking riot. AFTV can get their banners out again as well, this time it would actually be appropriate. Something needs to be done, we need to get that filth Kroenke out of the club.

God, football has become such a shitshow. Fucking Tottenham in a Super League with no relegation. The absolute state of it.

Meh, it solidifies our spot as an elite club at a time that we are seriously at risk of losing it.

Plus, if games are played all over the world then that's fantastic for our global fans. Our fans in Asia, Africa, North America etc. have just as much as a right as local fans to see our boys in competitive action.

It a move away from tradition but football is a global game and we need to embrace that.

Also, I think that's a very pessimistic take, no reason we couldn't be back in the CL and competing for the league in 5 years if we just did a good job. It would actually feel extremely rewarding to reach the top this way too. Now we might be part of a cartel of 15 teams that will forever have a financial advantage over anyone else by virtue of having been successful in the past and being rich at the right moment in time. Awesome. And all the while clubs like West Ham, who have outperformed Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool so far this season, will never get to be a part of it. Or the likes of Frankfurt and Bergamo. If that's the way to make Arsenal the biggest club in the world according to Kroenke, I'd rather be midtable.

Arsenal will go from midtable prem to bottom of the super League. Yep no doubt will be a successful business for s long time but not a successful football club and certainly fully disconnected from the club which dates back to our founding.

The English domestic competition is the only reason Arsenal can even pretend to be at this table because we are not European giants. We are a hugely successful domestic team that owes everything to that country.. So I do think it is pretty insulting to toss that division aside without a second thought and for all the club's within it.

We're a brand. That's how the club is being treated. It'll make us more money. I'm in no way in support of this bs but I get where it's going. We're already an elite club, this will just cement as one for the long term while the kronkes line up their pockets.

This could be football revolution to be honest. We're part of it.

It's not a surprise that any of the top 15 clubs that did this are at least valued as much as 10 others beneath them. They know who's in charge and they want a bigger piece of the pie.

Well I may be old fashioned but I actually prefer proper competition in elite sport and the unpredictability that can bring. I mean I don't like where we are but we are being run poorly so we shouldn't automatically get the big rewards.

Remove competition and it's boring, to me anyway. I'd rather follow a "lesser" club in a domestic league.

The funny thing is the announcement comes in a day where Juventus Madrid and Arsenal all didn't win and yet are founding members 😆 We are struggling to even qualify for the 3rd tier European competition by merit. This is so so embarrassing and utterly wrong. The small clubs will probably cease to survive if we are allowed to compete in PL with the added money.

If they ban the top clubs the UCL and PL is utterly dead too. Who is going to watch Sky Sports Super Sunday Burnley vs Brentford? And UCL final 2024 Eibar vs Brighton?
