Xhaka doing what he does, but Leno doesn't have a brain when he has the ball at his feet. And it's a big problem. I'm not excusing Xhaka, he's as thick as they come, but Leno has got to be smarter and know his players and read the situation. And even if it's argued Lenk chose the right option, execute better and make it easier for a semi-disabled footballer like Xhaka.
Xhaka is still to blame more though. No proper football will look up see Wood there and still hit the ball straight at him.
I used to be very critical of Leno ability on the feet after I experienced Emi last season, the difference in their feet ability is day and night but the players have no excuses now. Arteta had designed this series of play for a long time they can't say they are not used to Leno passes now
