sounds like he wants Juventus, who can't offer more than 50m euros and Fiorentina is adamant about selling abroad and wants more than 70m. I think Atletico is someone to watch, they offered 70m for him last window. And there's Man City.

IF we could make UCL, i think he's obtainable.

in regards to CM, i saw Denis Zakaria is going to available for free transfer; worth a punt?

Because we always move just that season or two too slowly.

Imagine we had gone for him right after the FA Cup before we wasted all that money on Auba? That was the right time, but trust Arsenal to wait until it’s a seller’s market and we are a much less attractive proposition being out of Europe, and we have a distinctly meh manager before we indicate interest.

Going after Vlahovic instead of extending Auba after the FA Cup win would've been a ridiculous gamble. I give the club a lot of grief for many of its decisions but Vlahovic was either not interesting or viable at any point, don't think he wants to leave Italy anyway.

Signing a striker is the hardest position to recruit for at the very top. The margins between looking like a donkey and looking great are very thin. You only have to look at the desperate moves and money wasted at other big clubs.

How many big money, hyped up strikers have failed? There's a long list.

Barcelona will sign Ferran Torres in the January window as reported by Majority of Barca/City journos.

Torres is unhappy with lack of minutes under Guardiola and is reportedly pushing for a move.

Barcelona also heavily linked with a summer 2022 move for Karim Adeyemi. The player wants the move and reportedly has a release clause of 40 million euros.

Arteta probably isn’t involved in the minutiae of player buy back clauses come on. The player agents and our transfer team is who we need to be looking at in that respect.

And Mavropanos is shit.

Douzi also still has a lot of developing to do.

Some people will consider Mavropanos shit no matter what he does on loan or in his post-Arsenal career due to him not being good in the five matches or whatever it was he got for us in between his injuries.
