I agree with all that but why would Vlahovic come to us instead of Athletico? Our stock is at an all time low. Trying to attract good players is extremely difficult for a team thats out of Europe and has zero CL ambitions.
Doesn't mean we shouldn't have gone for a different striker though. You are spot on about that being a much bigger need than CB. And a new CM and RB were bigger needs than striker.
