Weren't close to being close to them in any case. Let's focus on being as good as we can possibly be, and for me that means getting rid of Arteta as soon as possible. The guy is not cut out for it.

Chelsea is pushing the boat out for Lukaku too. They will increase their bid to 120m + Alonso, close to what Inter wants.

I reckon if that happens we won't get close to the top 4 for at least the next 5 years barring us finding a super striker ourselves. Liverpool seems to most vulnerable out of the 4, they have peaked and is going downhill now, but we still have Spurs/Everton/Leicester to contend with.

Actually think Villa will be the darkhorse this year, very impressive signings so far. Might jump Everton.

I think he'll fancy a new adventure outside germany, but he seems purpose built for Bayern. He'll get great supply there. United forwards feed of scraps.

Splashing the Grealish cash on a 29 year old Ings with two bad knees and a single good season in his career behind him (and it wasn't last one). Risky business.

My gut feeling is that this is the dumbest thing they've done since they broke their transfer record for Darren Bent.

Lukaku to chelsea, Inter to get Zapata to replace him while Atalanta replacing Zapata with Abraham.

I think Ings and Watkins are at a pretty similar level, while Watkins probably hasn't peaked yet. Weird move, but it's not even a third of the Grealish money.

Ings is coming on a cheap. 1 year left. It's a pretty smart move to be backup for Watkins.

They have already signed Buendia and Bailey, and reportedly signing one more big player.

Edit: nvm just saw they are paying 25m for him. Retarded
