What we have sold for vs what they have sold for doesn’t say anything at all about extracting value though. 10m for Bielik was good, if we sold Eddie for 10 it would not be good.

Fair, but I think Liverpool getting £23m for Brewster is a case study for how not to buy rather than how to sell.

If there is one thing we could improve on it's selling players when it looks like we don't want to get rid, rather than selling when we do.

Is that a done deal? Because in German media there's smoke regarding Sevilla going for Schalke's Kabak, can't see them signing two to replace Koundé. 25m + Zouma would be a great deal for Chelsea but has no relation to us because Koundé wouldn't come to a non-CL club.

He's a bit of a midget but has a ridiculous leap on him. Very fast and silky on the ball, one of the best defenders in Europe last season. Shame if he goes there

Speaking of Kabak, his stock has plummeted rapidly.

He was offered to Liverpool for a much lower price (around £10 million) but they seem to turned the offer down.

Yeah I was never that high on him to begin with. He's definitely talented but extremely rash and has been shipped around and at too many chaotic clubs too fast for his own good, a couple seasons in a solid EL level club environment would do him well.

We did sell ox to them for a truck load of cash and his knees were fooled and they knew it.

Solanke played quite a few games for Liverpool to be fair, I think he even got an England cap. Brewster also scored 10 goals in the Championship.

Either way though, saying we should get £60m for Willock because SU are mugs who paid £23m for Brewster is a logical fallacy.

I think Ox and to a certain extend Iwobi are the only sales we have did well.

Reportedly Liverpool are struggling this summer to shift some of the bit-part players for the prices that they want (Ox, Keita, Origi, Shaqiri and Minamino).

I'm certainly not convinced Kounde is a better option. Seems like a risky potential downgrade if he doesn't take to the league. Don't know the player that well, though.

I looked them up, the players in that list got 772 games for Arsenal by the time we sold them(500 in the PL)...a lot of them got a lot more during loans, so they were proven at a high lvl. Liverpool got 11 mil for Wilson, the guy got 100 min for Liverpool in total(shit cup games). We cannot compare to them.
