That would be Chelsea, ManC and ManU all with incredibly powerful teams. Liverpool have VvD coming back and they're already good. It would be very hard for us to make top 4.

Until MU get some of these deals over the line IMO Sancho alone still makes them vulnerable re top4.
That said I also think our transfer business thus far has been an absolute cluster fuck in every aspect, not just in being ready to hit the ground running let alone being ruthless about anything. I am seeing our lack of UEFA qualification being blamed, but I think we are generally a bunch of soft c*cks and we hide behind our 'traditional values' and are slavish to maintaining our financial structures.
Our only 'saving' grace at this point is that 3 of the current top4 are still incomplete as yet, with all 3 of MC, MU & CFC all 'needing' a CF at least.

I'd be a bit annoyed if spurs sold kane and got vlahovic. he'd be the perfect replacement for them

I think vlahovic is a great talent, but this is big money for a player (60m euros +) who's only had one great season. He really has only been in excellent form for the past 6 months.

IMO we should have activated his release clause last summer, & should also be doing so this summer rather than looking to pay 70m for Maddison.

Apparently we negotiated a sell on clause when we sold Malen to PSV for 600k couple years ago

Begovic is close to signing for Everton apparently. He's 34 now but he's on a free transfer and experienced. Probably wouldn't be a bad backup for us to have either.

From what I've seen in German media they actually ramped up the price after the Sancho sale. First it was 30m for weeks in the media now all of a sudden they want 40m, allegedly because Raiola wants a 30% cut.

Andros Townsend on a free and Demerai Gray who had a very disappointing spell at Leverkusen (he wasn't that good at Leicester either).
