I have no idea. I know we paid their bills to get them out of financial trouble though in exchange for player opportunities.

I think you're right about Belgium and Eastern Europe. A lot of people say we should scout in France but the generational change has already happened there and now you have to pay top dollars for talent.

He's anything but a pace merchant and I think that's part of the issue. Bloke has more tricks in his bag than the rest of every team he has ever played in put together, but he's not one to run in straight lines and just do a job.

Costa was too explosive for his own body to keep up with. When he was on form he was perfect, bit moody though and way too injury prone

Sounds outrageous but Depay is one of the closest like for like replacements for Messi you can get. Really reinvented himself at Lyon, bit of an idiot but he's incredibly smart on the pitch. One of the few players at this level who are as comfortable creating as they are at finishing.
