Yep. The question of management becomes less relevant the more data we get. The team is a mess and we have tumultuous season after tumultuous season. The only consistency is the lack of it, and it's sinking the club.

I guess if that's where you get to may well then just get the most experienced manager we can with a proven record over someone we have no idea about. The former you can say this is what they have achieved and maybe the squad make-up is hurting them versus we don't know anything about this guy maybe he's the problem as there is no data to guide you.

And yet we've been the worst. We highlight how poor numerous teams are but we are the worst of the worst. In a season where I think everybody bar city has been awful we are rock bottom of those clubs. That's pretty poor outcome for me.

So we might as well put tactic tim as head coach? In several seasons with Wenger we overperformed and achieved top4 when on paper we had not enough to make it. That is what we need right now, a top tier manager, not a decent guy but with zero experience in the premier league like Emery nor a kindergarten coach who hasn't even managed some U13 kids before arriving to Arsenal.

I think everyone knows where I stand, I actually dislike his cowardly tentative overanalyzed style and everything about it really. I'm not convinced by him at all. My problem is that he's shown little progress to prove he can do better in the next 3-4 years. He could turn into the best coach in the world in the future with an ideal set of players and I wouldn't even care. Now's not the time to screw around with an amateur. I don't think the owners expected him to finish outside of Europe after spending what they did too. He should be sacked out right if he can't make Europe

You're right , but given the choice would you rather gamble on those than Arteta next season?

I like the progress we have seen in the last three months. Yesterday showed the importance of our spine, albeit one with flawed players. Luiz and Xhaka are very important to possession and build-up, especially with Partey next to Xhaka. Both are slow and frustrating but yesterday they would’ve at least retained possession. We couldn’t string together 3 passes. We need to at least have the ball fro Partey and Odegaard to then create. I want to upgrade both men, but fans are dreaming if they think the current team is better off without them.

Xhaka was woefully missing yesterday. Arteta didn't do himself any favours too with his tactics

heres what arteta has proven:

his tactical vision involves sitting back defensively, and hoofing crosses into the box. he is happy with creating 3-4 chances per match and hoping to win 1-0
his man management is questionable at best, and actively damaging the club at worst
he has shown no ability to consistently field his best team or get consistent effort from his players, which is why its always 2 steps forward and 3 steps back

no one expects us to hire klopp or guardiola. weve scored 40 goals this season in 30 games. in wenger's last season, with an inferior squad, we scored 74 goals. the product we are putting out there right now is embarrassing.

Xhaka and Luiz have been awful for our build up play all season, slowing it down and ruining our flow. They are a massive part of why we are so bad in transition.

I agree. The fact that it seems to get worse without them isn’t a good sign though.
