At this stage Arteta might as well see out the season. Try and get what we can where we can, there's no time to make big changes anyway. But you can't continue to back someone who doesn't get results on the pitch. The FA Cup bought him more time and patience but letting him go in the summer should be one of the easiest decisions we've ever had to make as a club. There's no downside whatsoever.
Our concern should be not to waste guys like Smith-Rowe and Saka and Martinelli, maybe Tierney too; attacking players who have enough going for them that they could end up being defining players in Premier League over the next decade. It will never happen in an Arteta-coached team though, and that's regardless of whether he improves dramatically. He's not that kind of manager, and he doesn't surround himself with those kind of people.
