Nearly 18 months of Arteta overseeing the team and I really don't think there has been anything that looks like building towards anything of value. We hired a novice and he doesn't look like he's got much about him to justify keeping with him. Only Arsenal will probably do that though no other club would accept it.

Exactly, Arteta doesn’t exactly have Pep’s reputation behind him where we can throw millions at his project and be confident it will bring us success.

Arsenal can be a mess and Arteta just not be a very good manager. He had no track record what we see now is all you can judge him on and it doesn't look great.

He's done worse than Emery and Wenger. We could easily get a better manager. Artetas hopeless, tactically clueless, terrible man management, conservative in everything he does, he's had 18 months and we are going nowhere.

Exactly. There aren't 3 or 4, there are none. Zero. It has nothing to do with Arteta. Sack him, fine. He's underperforming, that's a stone cold fact, but I'd prefer to see a team built by someone instead of this Frankenstein's trash pile we have now. Sacking him now just prolongs our misery.

I think the notion that it wouldn't make any difference what manager we have is delusional. It could be worse, it could be better. If you're right and a manager has no influence whatsoever on results that would be revolutionary to the entire sport.

1000% agree. There are managers that can make a team overperform. WHU at 5th shows that. We should aim for a manager able to make the whole more than the sum of its parts.

A top tier manager would get results after his first season, no excuses. This is the best and hardest league of the world, no place for kindergarten coaches.
