There was a guy next to me whinging and moaning through the entire second half about Arteta, literally didn’t take a breath, until someone in front of him told him to shut up. Didn’t even celebrate the goal, I think his mate who was in the process of leaving called everyone idiots and left anyway. Forgot ask them what their Omitt username was.

I would have imagined that even at a loss , we surely could have got much more for Pepe , Gunedouzi and Toreira combined.
I will add Saliba to that list , he ain't coming here to play Europa under Arteta when he can play CL with Marseilles.
All he has to do is throw a fit in training and Edu and co will banish him and sell for peanuts.

Whinging and moaning is part of being a football fan whether it's about the ref the players or the manager. After these back to back performances who the fuck are you supposed to moan about?

Goon, you are better than this. The anger here is very reasonable today, especially in the match thread as compared to the performance we are served up with for the past 2 matches combined.

Jones, though in fairness I don't think he's serious.

Fair enough, probably my frustration getting the better of me. But I do think while everyone is entitled to complain (I've moaned plenty myself today), it's just tedious coming on here to read some of the more cartoonish views.

I fucking hate that a 5 minute VAR check finds Martinelli to be offside by the tiniest of margins, like it literally made no difference, he didn't gain any advantage whatsoever, and then the goal is ruled out. Finicky bullshit and has nothing to do with making football a better sport.

This threads been the same all year. There were plenty of smug Artetas great posts when we were in good form. Now we're in bad form the pendulum has swung the other way. If we win every game for the rest of the season and finish 4th it'll swing back again. Thats how it goes.

I'm not a big fan of Orbinho, but I think the point he implies here is vital. If you don't have a habit of scoring and creating goals you're not going to find any keys to unlock opponents at crucial moments.

Villa were all over Spurs in the first 30 minutes today and they still ended up losing by four goals. When we get challenged like that we lose to Palace snd Brighton without creating a proper chance in 180 minutes of football. If you want to change the culture at Arsenal then you have to start here. Make us fearsome again instead of just tough to score against.

Except we created a load of chances against Brighton. Enough to win handily. Scoring goals is the problem, not creating chances. Stats back it up, but you can see it with your eyes.
