Money for Bellerin would be good at this point, I really like the guy but he's been getting worse for some time now. I'd be fine with Cedric in the meantime until we can get a real quality replacement in.

Watch his Europa League game from Thursday. His team scraped through but I had anxiety watching it. The play was so disjointed. And they really struggled playing our from the back. They were pressed and the goalie and defenders panicked very easily. It reminded me of Cech & co in that season opener

I think Unai is a good manager to be honest, I just don't think he's suited to management outside Spain, especially given his steadfast reluctance to use a translator.

It was harder to finish 5th that year than 4th. We managed it. We were 4th with 7 games to go and managed to win just 2 against all odds.

We also managed to have the biggest Europa Final defeat for about 14 years, starting a Chelsea bound Cech and against a team in disarray, wanted Sarri gone etc. Remember this?

The less said about that Emery season the better. Embarrassing.

Harsh, it wasn't a bad season at all, but there were a lot of red flags about what was to come.

That final was so painful. Emery bottled it with the approach, I remember saying pre-game that we had to go for it as we've only ever played well under Emery when we've pressed high but he chose to be cautious and we never recovered.

Emery had a terrible season. We also neglect that the second string teams were not as good then as they are now. Every weekend is a battle. Not just for us. But for everyone. West Ham, Villa, Leicester, Everton etc were nowhere near this good in the Emery season.
