I think Arteta has got us out of the shit (which he was partly responsible for us falling into) and has got us into a space where I'd say he's doing a decent job. Some things he's doing well: squad building, team spirit, some things he is below-par: consistently effective attacking football and performances in the big games (though City was promising).
I think it's simultaneously true that Arteta deserved to be sacked at one point, was lucky to survive, but he also has turned things around and deserves a bit of credit and backing right now. When the facts change, opinions should too.
Personally thinking about the manager is taking a backseat for me for the rest of this season. We are in a serious fight for top 4 and it's exciting and a bit manic to be part of. Constantly analysing the manager after every game is boring and draining as fuck.
