I think its easy to make more of substitution than what they really are (good and bad) and can probably point out a number of mistakes in the game, but from the way we played, how we took the game to (a very well drilled) wolves team and forced them to retreat. Absolutely.

You could argue that Saka was overplayed before last night already but his subs were spot on, attitude bar a few shaky moments in the first half was great too. Plenty of other matches you could point to with us winning in spite of Arteta, last night was definitely not one of them.

Was so happy with the win yesterday so couldn't be bothered but was reminded by Kurt's quote so I will bite. Kinda surprised to see such a guilty sounding comment but it wasn't even aimed at you. You have been one of those that consistently admit you are wrong and is always here rain or shine, more aimed at idiots whose main purposes is to troll and add no value to the discussions. You don't see those cowards when we are losing, disappearing for months only coming in to shitposts when get a good run going.

And furthermore this is a forum, so what is wrong with disagreeing and agreeing with different views? Most people's main goal is to see Arsenal do well, and the differing opinions come in when they feel Arteta is not the man to bring Arsenal to greater heights. Mate, you might have missed it, but we’ve been on a good run since January last year and i’m still on here as inconsistently as i’ve always been. Calling someone a coward for having 2000 posts in 10+ years is pretty weird. It’s a forum on the internet lol, not the wild west.

No issues with you calling me a troll, though. Of all the names i’ve been called on here that’s probably the most fitting.

Remarkable win against Wolves, I am happy, I just want to return to those days when we took for granted to obtain a result against the smaller teams.

They are ok but vastly overrated on here. The Wolves side with peak Jimenez and Jota was better IMO.

But most teams and managers (Potter) are overrated on here for some reason. I would take the Southampton gaffer over Potter.

“Hur dur 8th” is why i’m beyond engaging in actual discussions. If you guys are so stubborn you’re not willing to let yourself see what’s going on with the club under Arteta than i’m not going to waste time trying to convince you.

I’ll just pop in, have a laugh and wait for the penny to drop. It’s already happening with some of you.

I think Arteta has got us out of the shit (which he was partly responsible for us falling into) and has got us into a space where I'd say he's doing a decent job. Some things he's doing well: squad building, team spirit, some things he is below-par: consistently effective attacking football and performances in the big games (though City was promising).

I think it's simultaneously true that Arteta deserved to be sacked at one point, was lucky to survive, but he also has turned things around and deserves a bit of credit and backing right now. When the facts change, opinions should too.

Personally thinking about the manager is taking a backseat for me for the rest of this season. We are in a serious fight for top 4 and it's exciting and a bit manic to be part of. Constantly analysing the manager after every game is boring and draining as fuck.
