Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said he has ārun out of ideasā on how to stop his teamās disciplinary issues.
Artetaās side have had four players sent off in their last six games.
Last night, Gabriel Martinelli was sent off in strange circumstances during Arsenalās 1-0 win over Wolves at Molineux.
The Brazilian attacker, 20, was shown two yellow cards at the same time by referee Michael Oliver for two incidents which took place within seconds of each other.
First, he shoved Daniel Podence as the Wolves player attempted to take a throw-in, before barging Chiquinho as the referee played advantage.
Arteta said that he had never seen an incident like it, and suggested he would raise the incident with the Professional Game Match Officials Limited group (PGMOL), which organises Premier League refereeing.
On Arsenalās spate of red cards, Arteta said: āTo win football matches like that (with ten men) is extremely difficult and we have to stop it.
āWeāve been talking about it. I have run out of ideas (about how to stop it). We put ourselves in trouble with the red card and we had to dig in.
āWe need to play with 11 players in the last 16 games and that is key. To win games with ten men is very unlikely.ā
Asked about Martinelliās red, he said: āI'm not happy with the decisions we have had this season, but that is a discussion that I will have with the officials.
āI need an explanation with what happened today. Those discussions will happen soon.ā
Wolves head coach Bruno Lage also had issues with the officiating, feeling Arsenalās goal should have been ruled out for a foul on Jose Sa.
āIt's clear, so clear. When you look at the image it's a strange decision,ā he said.
