😆 so that's context, talking about home form and not the topic at hand which is our scoring record. Mentioning behind closed doors games which every team has had. But not that City who you mention scored 32 to our 18 goals at home, little over a goal and a half per game. Or that Palace Leicester and West Ham have scored more than we did.

1 in 4 games without scoring at home is embarrassing, not sure how you can try and twist this again. We're absolutely atrocious in attack and have been since Arteta took over

Not arguing we've struggled to score goals, it's there in black and white without having to bring up some convoluted stat with no real meaning.

What's convoluted about "all home league matches under Arteta"? 40 games, 10 games of which we didn't score in seems pretty straightforward to me.

Anyway, it's clearly the biggest hurdle Arteta needs to clear. I do think we're moving in the right direction though.

We're having more shots and creating a few more chances, read a stat not long ago that our shots from the inside the box have increased by 17% this season. Our xG is also comparable to anyone bar Chelsea, City and Liverpool. Just need to keep edging upwards.

I disagree but I understand some of the opinions given here. We may have been shit, but we were a top4 team for the majority of our time after our golden age. What are we today?

In any case, you could say that we were shit among the big guys. Today we are just shit, a mediocre team that cannot score a goal at home against 20th placed Burnley. A confirmed mediocre team that has finished 8th twice in a row.

How's that stat contrived? It's pretty damn straightforward as a whole. We have not scored in 25% of our home matches in Artetas reign.

We created chances against Burnley. They defended well, but we still created some decent chances. Not going to peg Arteta on this one game, although it’s super frustrating. The feeling is made worse because it’s a culmination of a lot of frustrations in the past month or two. But there’s little to no room for error now. Let’s see how we handle that pressure.

Burnley hadn’t played since Jan 2nd. They were mentally very sharp and we had a 20 year old kid playing single pivot in midfield. This is at a time when our squad been the weakest it has all season.

The noise here gets loud when we have bad spells. Ironically there is little noise when we do well. Where were these comments during our good run in Dec?

There were plenty of complaints about him during December and a lot of the criticisms of his management while we are winning are coming home to roost now. Not rotating, falling out with players, bizarre choices like giving Elneny minutes when he wouldn't even be here for most of the month.

Burnley didn't play but they missed alot of training sessions too. They didn't play because they were decimated by Covid ffs.

Alternatively he could have been summoned for a please explain as to why we are freezing out our Captain and 60m player on 350k/week, and why our most expensive signing isn't playing regularly, let alone being a starter. The wastage under Arteta is huge.

Think it's far safer to assume Arteta is meeting whatever modest KPIs were agreed at the outset of the season. Whatever the Aubameyang narrative is (for example) I don't really imagine it's being spun in a way that will damage him.

Maybe, I have wondered as well how the hell is Arteta pitching a new big fee, big salary striker to him 😆 . "What happened to the one we gave the highest wages in club history a year ago?"...well he upset me, but don't worry you still get to pay him for a year and half, just that he will play somewhere else or stay at home 😆 . And yeah, the other two strikers(Laca is also on big wages by the way) I don't rate them one bit, but I turned all offers down for them so they can leave for free in a few months.

Don't get me wrong, if he gets the money I'm happy...but I would not give him a dollar if I was Stan.
