Personally I think his presence more than anything will be a big miss - he is the most pro-active in-game manager in the league. And it’s probably the worst game in the entire season to be missing your main leader.
Anyway, maybe opportunity for Albert and/or Steve Round to step up. Hardly seem charismatic hence they are number 2’s and 3’s.
Hopefully Mikel will still have direct communication lines into them in terms of tactical shape and subs.
But put it this way, our chance of beating city have probably dropped by 20 percent because of Arteta’s absence.
Palace and Villa both lost when their respective managers were out with Covid recently. Having said that, West Ham won a a few games last season when Moyes was out.
