I've regularly said it was totally reckless to appoint a novice manager to this job. However if your accepted it you could project lots on Arteta as there was no evidence to judge him by.
But for me, now 2 years into his tenure, you can't make that claim anymore. We have seen what Arteta's philosophy is over the last 2 years and it's negative, cowardly in my eyes and almost Bolton like try to nick results and defend. I don't even believe we defend well, he gets almost everybody behind the ball which has a natural affect of making it harder to score against bit isn't a good defence. As it's shown anytime we play a remotely decent attacking side they cut through with ease. He hasn't really made us any better defensively and are poor and boring attacking team.
There hasn't been any sign of progress that would suggest he's going anywhere, he just looks totally not ready. So now it's a question how much time do we waste with him before we recognise we need to change if we want to go forwards
