A backline of Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier and Regulion kept City out albeit at home. We are short on world class players but there is simply no reason why even those who play don't put up a fight. Defence was one positive out of last season. What happened now. It isn't as if we started playing expansive football.

I think that's the key point it's not that you might lose to these teams. The manner of the loss and lack of ability to even make it competitive is not just players. Inferior teams can be drilled to try to make it a game. We never seen to do that and it's coming from the top.
