actually, i think the move is to buy white and sell holding. holding is maxed out in terms of what he offers, but hes english and has plenty of first team experience. sell him to a mid-table/newly promoted side for £20m, buy white for £50m, and then our CB pairings are locked in for a while

this actually offers us the best of both worlds, two rightfooted CBs and two leftfooted CBs. mari is older and has experience, which would benefit saliba a lot if those two are paired up. gabriel and white both have EPL experience and can start out as the first choice pair.
