Onana is decent, has a mistake in him, but definitely better on the ground and claiming crosses.
The decision to keep Leno, was the correct one at the time, to bomb him out when he was arguably our player of the season even with Martinez’s heroics, would have been foolish.
It is a shame it has come to this now, and screams of behind the scenes trouble, but let’s see where we go this summer. The goal is to have a better team, and maybe Onana and co can fit into whatever philosophy Arteta will implement.
