Quiet goon! Everything is Arteta's fault. EVERYTHING.
Seriously what's the point of posts like this in every single thread? They are all having a good discussion with valid points on both sides, nobody even talked specifically about Arteta himself in most thread these days but you keep coming up with these pointless crap everywhere that adds no value whatsoever to discussions. Carry on yourself man.

Let's not pretend it has anything to do with his lack of football this season. According to Ornstein talks first broke down 12 months ago (which is why I find it particularly ludicrous to blame Arteta), let's not forget he was supposed to leave in the summer. You guys are buying whatever his agent is feeding the media. The idea that a single start and 10 mins more off the bench would have been enough for him to sign... I genuinely don't know how anyone could possible believe that.
This is the same agent who got Saka down to his last 12 months, I guess in that case the 3000 mins were not enough?
The funny thing is, the contract situation is probably what has prevented him being integrated more into the first team.
Quincy made a good point, some players just feel that it's faster to go elsewhere establish themselves and then make a big move in 2 years time like Haaland Sancho or whomever. Romano is consistently feeding the info of game time being the key discussions but we will never know. We offered him 60k, if he leaves for a lesser contract then good luck to his decision. You'd also have to consider if the club he leaves for is doing better than us or not, like if he leaves for a UCL club for example it's hard to begrudge him.
We should have given him more minutes when we could earlier in the season but I don't blame us for not giving him minutes after dec when it was clear he was off. This is the right line to take, never get managers who play players that are leaving. Chances are this guy is going to have a good career and all these discussions will be classic in future
