Thanx for the responses re Haaland. I don't disagree that the outcome is most unlikely if we do make a bid (as opposed to an enquiry), but after today's performance we should not not do so.

Also admit I had forgotten about BVB selling Sancho (shows how bad he has been at MU, or how badly he has been used), so they do have some mitigation/revenue depending on how the deal is structured.

In more seriousness, I wonder if we will sell Nketiah if we are able to bring in a new striker once we offload Auba?

In all seriousness, Saka leaving Arsenal could be the saddest Arsenal departure since Cesc.

My prediction: he will be gone by summer 2023 latest unless we are a proper team. Got 18 months to be a club that deserves him.

He’s bordering on world class now, could dominate for next 8-10 years. CL footie (minimum) is key to him staying.

Looks like AMN to Roma may not happen;

I was pissed off with him the other day but this month (due to our lack of options in CM) is probably his last realistic chance/window to impress at Arsenal to have any chance of a real future here. Otherwise he is dead cert to leave in the summer imo.

If he has anything about him he should bust a gut v Liverpool this Thur (I assume he starts) with the aim to get in the first 11 v Spurs away in the league.

Ppl say he doesn’t have the fire in the belly which I agree with. Now would be a good time to prove me and others wrong.

Maitland-Niles has shown out pretty well at every rare opportunity he's been given this season, I'd tend to go by that over what we mis(remember) about his qualities. Exciting for him that there's never been a better time for him to stake a claim in a much better side than Roma's.

I don’t want to repeat myself as I’ve already mentioned it on the match thread from Sat but since you asked, literally 30 secs after the game ended he was joking and smiling with City players. It wasn’t that noticeable on camera so appreciate if some missed it but I saw it and it was shocking.

Ah fair enough, yeah that passenger mentality isn't all that palatable. On the other hand, it's not like Xhaka is any better. The commitments sort of have to be mutual.
