im so glad we signed willian he was soooo needed

Our next league game is in 2 weeks time. By then we’ll have Partey back, a fitter Martinelli and maybe an addition or two

If you say his name three times he'll appear and it'll be your fault!

I think by now even the most blinded guy could agree that Willian instead of someone better was indeed the problem

We have missed someone playing this role full season. ESR good at it too.

I think Willian could still be useful today. He can clear off some of the snow at half time.

Look at the trail the ball is leaving. I’ve never played in conditions that bad.

We need to pepper some more shots at their gk. Slippery conditions. Our goals have been unstoppable

Played High School soccer in Vermont, got much worse than this!

It's so much fun as a defender. Sliding in with tackles and getting frozen fingers in the process. I've done it a few times

It will be great if Aubameyang can find some form now.

Been my dream to play in conditions that's cold. I have never played in weather below 30 deg Celsius

Had to play some snowy high school games in Vermont as well. Some in the sleet. Thought it was cruel stuff coming from Africa.

The pitch is insane 😆

But he has the most "key passes"!

Yeah, don't understand these conditions. When does it get dangerous?

Half of the tracks in the snow are from the ball, the other half are from Kieran Tierney.

Our entire left wing doesn't have a speck of snow, coincidence? I think not

Keeper got lucky

Nice from Laca and Auba with the air shot 😆

Lava has been fantastic. He’s found God.

Call Mr. Plow,
that's my name
That name again is Mr. Plow

Did the gk turn his body to laca's shot? Terrible bravery for a gk 😆

The amount of back passing by our players is really annoying. Hector had dani on a run and passed back

The heavy snow killed what was a great half from us.

We keep saying playing Willian killed Arteta's arsenal career.

Time to say ESR saved his career.

Or maybe he saved it himself by playing ESR?

What a half. How is everyone so confident now?

this hale end generation can create something really special, i just hope we can keep them together

Maybe he should thank Kyle Walker for throwing his Brazilian heavy Covid party.

Hope to see an Auba appearance in the second half...

Saka has been unplayable, and Laca and ESR pretty good too.

Nothing coming off for Auba, am getting slightly worried.

Anyone else saw when Xhaka! tried to pass back and was getting closed down by a striker and had to turn his whole body around and compelled to play a forward pass. He (and Ceballos) like to point to others where to pass, whereas Partey just actually moves to go somewhere he can receive a pass.

Feels good to watch us play with confidence for the first time in what feels like years

I could watch that 2nd goal again and again. We have been starved of such football.

WBA are terrible, but great half of football. We play more compact, with shorter distances between players. That makes it easy to keep the ball moving quickly and accurately between players. It also helps that we have Laca, Smith-Rowe and Saka drifting in between the lines.

ESR man. What a fucking player.

ESR is a wonderful talent but we have just missed that body in between the lines and a player that has the freedom of the width of the pitch. I am not surprised Ceballos looks better too. He kept playing with a 3 at the back and only the center forward to pass to. Arteta has done well to move to this system.

Laca was cheering before Saka had even taken the shot. 😆
Magnificent third man running there.
When the season began, for me more important than league position was seeing this kind of football consistently. We need to embed this before the summer.

Just a perfect snow storm of positives. The right personnel in key positions, WBA with a dip in form, team confidence healing from consecutive wins.
