He won POTY the season before. Last season he was already on a downward trajectory, although not as bad as it's made out to be. Auba has been worse today and since the start of the season, starting to become more of a worry for me.

Yes, I'd feel good about three years. I don't mind older strikers either, there's a lot to put together mentally when you're a 9 and it's good to have the toughness that experience gets you. He won't be cheap though.
