Controlled most of the half, had some decent possession and ball movement, and we have nothing to show for it. LC wasn't even playing their best attacker. I hope that doesnt bite us in the ass

Did Leno even have to do anything yet? The entire backline's been great. Partey only decent midfielder, Xhaka distant second. Saka is a solid 7/10, rest of the guys are shit.

Bloke is literally never injured either. Started 38 league games in both of his first two seasons for Wolves. He played 3252 minutes out of 3400 possible in the league last year. He's someone who'll keep fit for years into his 30s just like Auba, it comes naturally to him.

I like the territory. I like how Gabriel and Luiz are pushing the entire team forward and playing the distributor role. They are the metronomes, dictating everything. Very impressive. It would be good to see more of that initiative reciprocated by the midfielders. We need more through balls coming from the middle 3. Tierney has done his part his well. Encouraging.

The half time panel has reviewed the goal with Dermot Gallagher. We were cheated.

This has been annoying me, our midfield 3 are too flat and none of them have been ahead of the ball. Doesn't help that Ceballos has looked way off the pace. I'd sub him at half time for a forward and move Saka to AM.

You think he will be able to go 3 or 4 more years in peak condition? He’s superb. I really rate that guy

that's not what he said. he said that his first thought was that's why they disallowed it (obviously because the official reason didn't make sense). they told him they felt xhaka impeded the keeper and then wrighty got mad.

Its doubly frustrating when you consider most of the open play goals we've scored have come from dani or saka making supporting runs beyond our forwards
