I like what I’ve seen from Elneny. I suspect he starts. With 2 days practice, I doubt Thomas starts but he’d be supreme. If we want to defend and break, there is nobody on our team who will understand how to contain an opponent as well as Thomas. His ability to manage a low block, track runners and passes is elite. And he’d be able to take a pass and release Pépé / Aubameyang with ease.
