The "I hope so" is an Arteta quote on hoping to get Tierney back in time.
I expect the 343. If Partey is only starting to train today with Xhaka, AMN, and Ceballos probably only just back today as well, I think that's what we see. With Partey benched. I think Arteta will want a trusted formula and see if we can switch to the 433 if gamestate allows in 2nd half.

That's supremely better than including that clown Kolasinac. It's like playing with 10 against 12 when he's on.

What I don't get with Arteta is that Kolasinac has only every played well for us as a LWB. Yet Arteta wont use him there and plays him at CB instead.

He gets progression on the flank, but then he gets into dangerous areas and just kicks the ball into the stand. Just unreliable.

He was delivering decent balls into the box under Emery when we played him there. I remember he was top of our stats for big chance creation for a couple of months. I don't think he's any more unreliable going forward on the left than AMN. He is a worse defender though. I just think in some situations he could still do a job at LWB. For instance if we are 1-0 down with 20 minutes to go on Saturday I don't think swapping him with AMN would be a bad move.

He was really good early on under Emery. Flawed player yes but easy enough to tell that his confidence has been shot for a good while

Kolasinac was not only good at LWB under Emery, he was also quite exciting going forward in his first season under Wenger. He scored 5 goals too I think. He was always a suspect defender and playing him at left center back has been surprising. That said he is a lost cause now. He doesn't have the same verve going forward and he is a worse defender now than when he came. He should have gone.

Doubt Partey starts, seems too early and in a game that Arteta will lean on players who know his tactics. Hopefully he gets minutes regardless of if we're winning or losing.

Kolasinac is always good going forward. Some of his volleyed assists were brilliant.

I have no doubts him at LWB is twice the player at LCB

Kola's main problem is composure. Something you don't need so much of at LWB compared to LCB.
