For 6 months loan it's pretty decent as long as no obligation to buy. He's barely played much football for the past few years so must be pretty fresh

I wouldn’t mind a 6 month loan rather than a panic buy if we can’t get our main targets. But I’m not sure how useful it will be.

Would prefer Buendia, as he would adapt very quickly.

10 surely? Competition/relief for ESR.

Isco is a ridiculous dribbler in tight spaces. I assume he will play here as a 10. He hardly play out wide these days

He’s great as a 10. It’s easy to forget just how much potential he had before he was sucked up and fucked up the Real Madrid monster. But if he comes in and plays 10, do he and ESR split the minutes 50-50? We have 22 league games, an FA Cup game and 2 Europa games left. That’s 12 matches each for the rest of the season.

We don’t have any room for another non-homegrown player. So if we want to get him we would need to sell.

don't see the point in isco for 6 months when he'll spend most of that time trying to rediscover some form and moping about the weather. also another grossly unathletic dawdler to add to our other ponderous options xhaka, el neny and ceballos. just, no. bring someone in that can move the ball forward quickly

What I’d do for a prime Santi Cazorla in this midfield.

I never like santi as a centre mid. his 2 footedness and technique was good to watch at times, but ultimately he wasn't equipped to play centre mid in the epl every week, too many limitations

Still our best CM mind you since he left, till Partey came along. Santi is a perfect CM in a 3.

But Real have destroyed him. Not sure he's up to it anymore.

Doesn't he have a terrible injury history? Don't think he has ever played more than 25 league games in any season (or maybe just the one season). Also, does anyone know why he hasn't played at all this season - another injury?

Sabitzer to Spurs rumours are strong. I wouldn’t get too fixated on him

Surely they can't play Sabitzer, Ndombele and Lo Celso in the same MF. Hopefully Ndombele's recent form has cooled their interest.
