Silly statement.

If Wenger won the title at Arsenal in 2018 instead of 2004, would you still been #wengerout?

His career wouldn't have been any better, he would've just moved the good part.

Your favorite Kane (not sure why you're against the comparison) never wins anything (oh, maybe that's why), is he not required to beat City and the other CL giants to prove his grit?

Kane plays in a shit team with a loser DNA. He is just a modern day Shearer (bar one league title). Put Kane in a big team and it is a different discussion.

Kane doesnt disappear like Neymar. Look at Kane's record in NLD's unfortunately.

What has he done in the last 5 years?

Been consistently a top 3 player in the world. Football is a team sport, either you watch him and his team play or you don't but just end results don't make sense to assess what a player "has done"

He did fuck all in World Cup 2018 and has either been injured or been underwhelming since.

When was the last time he scored in a KO CL tie?

Wonder what would happen if you put Neymar in Barcelona.

He'd get upset he's not as good as Messi and run off to a second rate league where he can run rings around everyone.

So the problem is that he's not as good as Messi, got it.

I thought Quincy was taking the piss but you're actually serious about Kane and Neymar ๐Ÿ˜†

Why do the English have this ugly penchant to piss on everyone who's never played in England. Just two years ago people even here were saying Hazard was better than Neymar. Honestly Neymar might as well be playing a different sport he's that much better than Kane.

The problem is he's a prima-donna who has wasted his prime years in Ligue 1 because his ego couldn't handle being in the same dressing room as Messi.

I think he should've stayed at Barca. What I reacted to is that you said (or at least that's what it seems like) that he hasn't accomplished anything meningsfull in his career. Winning the treble and being the best player in the knockout stages of the CL while doing it counts as meaningful to me.

It takes some different world genius to want Kane over Neymar.

For the level of talent and ability he has he should have done more, he should have carried a team to bigger things than an Uber Eats title. He was of course a top player at Barca but his achievements there live the shadow of established names in that team, most notably Messi.

Yep all these different world genius's like Man Utd, Man City and Real Madrid going for Kane this summer.....

Kane guarantees you goals. What does Neymar bring apart from self-pity and drama?

Lets look at the last World Cup, Kane finishes as Golden Boot winner and Neymar did what exactly?

Do a quick poll on here and ask who would prefer Arsenal to sign this summer between Kane and Neymar and we will see who the winner is.

That's because its possible to buy Kane, but not possible to buy Neymar.

Who could buy anyone from PSG these days?

Kane is a top goal scorer and even then Neymar is levels ahead as a footballer. There is no comparison even. Kane can only dream of doing what Neymar can do with a football on the pitch. Agree with Qwiss on Neymar's move though. It was a pity and from going down as a once in a generation footballer, he will possibly not have the legacy he could in a stronger League with more visibility.

Also, watching Neymar gives me joy. He has more flair and skill in his toes than Kane in his body. He is a throwback to football and how it was.

Neymar would obviously score a shit load of goals in the Premier League.

At the moment Kanes done fuck all with his career too. Another player who needs to step up a level and make a statement.

You're comparing a number 10 with a number 9. It is not like for like. Compare Kane with Mbapee or Haaland not Neymar. Kane v Neymar is like comparing Ian Wright with Dennis Bergkamp.

Kane job is to score goals (to be fair this year he's added assists) not to do kick -up's and nutmeg players.

The question is, who is the more effective player? Goals is the hardest thing in football so it is Kane for me.

Let's face it, Neymar has underachieved overall in his career.

Right now put both of them in the market, Kane will go for more. His goal scoring record speaks for itself.

Sometimes Sicario writes a couple of reasonable posts and I wonder how he arrived at his -40 rating. Then he does this

Being creative is not tantamount to being a number 10. Messi isn't a number 10. I don't get this idea that a goal scorer, number 9, for the sake of this exchange needs to have a playing style of Harry Kane or Didier Drogba. It exists in England possibly. Neymar's career minutes to goals ratio is right up there.

Even disregarding all of the above, if given a choice between the two, would you pick Wright over Bergkamp?

Are we actually having a Neymar - Kane comparison.
This reminds me of that song Forgot About Dre. Go watch Neymarโ€™s career highlights. Sometimes people forget that he was one of the most prolific young scorers in the game. And he changed a bit after Barcelona. The guy is a G through and through. If I ever see he and Kane mentioned together Iโ€™m going to have to start handing out hidings. P
