Yeah. He had some injuries, fell out of form and fell down the pecking order. It’s quite sad because when he first got to Lazio he was highly regarded. He had a few really good games and was seen as the next big thing. He was really good his first season. I remember him burning Juve in the Italian Super Cup. As Clrnc alludes to, definitely a guy more known for his attacking prowess. But then he had issues with injury and seemed to fall out with Inzaghi. That’s how he ended up on loan in Belgium. He’d be a rescue job for sure but what are we looking for behind Tierney?

I prefer United personally because we seem to have their number. They've been more than matched by Milan so far too despite the fact that Zlatan, Theo Hernandez, Bennacer, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ante Rebic and Mario Mandzukic are all missing. I really don't think United will be much better than this even if Pogba and Rashford are included while Milan are missing all of their key players.

Gotta get past the Greek farmers first though.

That decision on the Milan goal is absolutely scandalous, how can you rule out a goal for handball when the player doesn't even handball it? I don't see it hitting his arm. It's actually insane.

Fair enough, they definitely looked the better side in the first half. United have a lucky quality about them though, a nasty habit of winning games they have absolutely no right of winning, often with the help of officials.

Yeah. The biggest issue is that they will probably dig up a couple of penalties across two legs (and we'll play guys like Luiz and Xhaka who can't wait to give them away), although I think referees in Europe are a little less prone to buying into United's cheating than they are in England.
