I don't see the need to speculate on what the slump was down to, whether it's family issues or the contract as some were doing earlier on, because the slump was evident throughout the side. There were literally 2-3 players in any given week that didn't perform well below their level.
Do we expect more from our 350k a week, captain of the side? Maybe, but like I said earlier, he's not being paid 350k a week because he's going to carry the side and be immune to a drop in confidence levels, he's being paid 350k a week because he's a genuinely world class goal scorer.
