Man of the match performance today.

He doesn't get half the credit he deserves because his playing style isn't as calm as Saliba. Also think his mistakes get highlighted a lot more because they've ended up costing us more severely (Fulham goal, Spurs pen). Saliba makes as many mistakes, if not more, but luckily they've not costed us directly.

Love the partnership between them though. I think they complement each other brilliantly and sweep up behind each other when required.

And then we have Benji White next to them and Tomi as back up. We are truly blessed.

Played a couple really incisive passes late in the game when it was getting really urgent too. Only thing missing tonight was one of his trademark set piece goals.

Pepe LeFrits I loved that moment when he pointed and told Eddie exactly where he should be, in full view of Newcastle players, and still successfully played him the ball right where he said he would. Guy is a fucking boss, and smart to boot.

It's funny what confidence can do to a player.

We started the season with confident Saliba and shaky Gabriel, now it's the opposite.

Incredible CB pair. I wouldn't swap it for any other in World Football.

est paid it the right wording and I was pleased to hear Arteta say that too. They compliment each other really well. Even pre-world cup when Saliba was flying, he looked notably more vulnerable next to Holding (same with Gabriel).

It was a little surprising to see minority of folks wanting to cash in on Juve's interest, but half a year before the sentiment felt pretty unanimous that he was one of our player of the season contenders. Agree est , wouldn't swap these two.
As someone mentioned on the match thread, underrated passer and historically (especially in Partey's absence) one of the few to show the courage to play the incisive passes when inhibition is spreading across the XI.

Clrnc I think there is plenty of love but he needs to cut the big errors out of his game.

Was immense yesterday, Saliba has looked shaky last few games but Gabriel has definitely stepped up.
