Iniesta isn't really an attacking mid though. He's playing pretty deep at Barca where he can make good use of his workrate, his ball control and his astonishing ability to dribble himself out of tight spaces. Xavi is the one with the range and the vision. Iniesta is the engine, the glue that keeps it all together. A modern day Redondo.
I think Nasri could do that too for what it's worth, but I don't think he can replace Cesc adequately. He's an interesting backup option to Song though, especially when we're trying to keep the team short and defend against a high-pressing opponent. I was very impressed with the way he handled himself in the first leg against Barca.
I'd like to see a midfield that looks like this at some point when Cesc and Song are out:
