I seen that press conference and I'm pretty sure he said there were some they were still trying to convince to get the vaccine.

On one hand I can't be bothered to get upset at people who refuse to get vaccinated; it's their choice and everyone who wants the vaccine can get it now, so they're only harming themselves by not taking it. But on the other hand they mess things up for Arsenal when they get sick and then go on to miss games, and if there's more than one of them they also risk infecting the other unvaccinated idiots in the team. I think it shows really poor team spirit to not get that shot. Yet another reason why Xhaka should not be anywhere near the captaincy I reckon.

Didn't Arteta not only extend but gave him a pay rise as well? Arteta really showing the team the way to get a pay rise is by slagging off your team mates and wishing you were elsewhere.

Well, that it's his choice isn't really a reason not to criticize him, rather the opposite. If it wasn't his choice then obviously he can't be blamed. Also they're definitely hurting others both because the reopening schedule is based on how many are hospitalized and because even vaccinated people aren't 100% protected so he's putting them in danger as well.

i disagree with this. to get vaccinated or not is a public health issue, not a personal issue. a person's choice to not get vaccinated directly impacts me, even if i am vaccinated (i am) and careful (i am extremely careful)

At the end of the day you can't do much about it aside from making sure you're safe. Unless your government decides to mandate vaccinations it's ultimately not a public health issue whether any particular individual gets jabbed or not. I think he's a dick too though.

Exactly, I am double vaccinated and anyone who has asked my opinion I have highly recommended they get jabbed. I'm not entirely comfortable with this idea of going around shaming people who haven't. Though I may come around to this idea if it gets Xhaka to leave 😆

Also surely it is a breach of patient confidentiality for the Swiss FA to be making this public? Anyway we are drifting off into politics now....
