Yeah, I'm sure there's plenty of interest in Douzi but I don't think anyone want's to pay big money for him. Certainly not the 30-40m I've seen mooted on here.

30 million easily for me. If we can't get close to that kind of money i would prioritize Aouar and keep Guendo. U-turns handed out for Mustafi, Xhaka, Maitland-Niles why can't we hand one more out. Fucking talented shit has exposed us as housing a rotten asset.

Looks like we destroyed Douzis value by freezing him out. Arteta trying to back track in his press conference about fresh starts, etc isn't fooling anyone. We are desperate to get rid and everyone knows it. Just have to stand by that decision now and sell him for what we can get.

Id actually loan him out (no options) if there is not much interest.. Worst case is that he is shit and his value drops another £5m of what we can get now, best case is he really performs and then we will have a lot more appealing options next season... still lots of time in this window, need a but of patience.

Guendouzi has potential.

Arteta has to set his stall out, so players know what is expected, and I can’t blame him for leaving out Guendouzi.

It has happened between far better players and managers in the past.

If we can’t get what is needed, then reintegrate him into the team. We can’t let him go for nothing. If we get around £25m then sell. He has potential though, and if he is not motivated by seeing the energy around the team and fan base at the moment, with the signings we are making and being linked with, then nothing will salvage his Arsenal career.

Sorry, 25m for Bellerin is a joke. We should be holding out for at least 35-40 if at all. I dont really want to sell him though. He's struggled for a bit but I still have more trust in him than Soares.

I'd take 15+ for Guendouzi if someone would pay that. I'm not as high on his talent as some others and his attitude is annoying. We can and should do better, no matter how young he is. Was an Emery pet project and it sputtered. Headless chicken most of the time

You're right. We need to take a stand with these clubs. For too many years, we've been slapped around by other clubs - paying £70m for Pepe and getting peanuts for our players in return. The Edu era needs to be about us getting fair value in both directions. Bellerin 35+, pay up for Sokratis etc. Pandemic or no pandemic.

I'm incline to agree with this. I'm not happy with the proposed fee either but we could hold out for another £10m and have a long running saga but the knock on effect is that we lose valuable time negotiating and finalising the Partey/Aouar deal.

Yeah but we also want him to have the best team possible the following season and the season after that.

I'm trying to work out in my head how taking a low-ball offer for Bellerin and releasing an under-contract (at least for this season) Sokratis for free is going to help our team do anything? I mean, can Napoli really not pony up the 4m or 5m we'd want for Sok? That's complete crap. We should be getting at least something for him

Bellerin's realistic transfer value is 35m or more. Not a gouging value. If someone wants to take him off our hands, they can come in higher than that. Otherwise, he's first choice RB. To me, Hector staying is part of giving Arteta his best team. Sell a combo of Guendouzi/Torreira/Elneny/Kolasinac to help finance a Partey/Aouar deal.

Giving our players away for peanuts harkens back to the latter days of Wenger..

Do we think Bellerin should be going below this range? 25m would be an insult. We need to be compensated properly for our talents.

There's good deals and there's bad deals. I wouldn't buy Bellerin for £25m+£5, I wouldn't buy him for £20m. I probably wouldn't even want to buy him after the last couple of years. Is it a sensational fee that I'd go laughing to the bank with? No, but I'd get over it when he sign Aoaur and Partey. I'm certainly not going to be sitting here satisfied that we still have the likes of Douzi and Sokratis sucking up wages and not contributing, while having 3 right backs of similar quality on the books with gaping holes in midfield, all because of principle.

If we can sign the players we want without selling anyone we have remotely positive feeling about then of course I'd rather we do that, but generally the players you can't wait to get rid of don't generate much for you.

To be fair, Robertson was relegated with Hull City prior to that 8 million move, Kimmich was an unproven youngster who had played only in German 2 and 3 Bundesliga before the move while Davies was a promising winger coming in from the MLS.

I am sure if we currently signed a player with a similar profile, our whole fan-base would be up in arms against it.

Those are the wrong comparables for Bellerin and you know it. Untested kids and folks at relegated clubs. Come on. You can do better, as can we. We need to extract maximum value for Bellerin.

Bellerin is a good defender. I just think that we have seen the maximum that he can offer. Which is still a very high level, and he has several years left in his career. He will give a team more than AWB, for example. So let's not get cheated.
