We just need to get these guys off the books. It’s a pity it’s covid season. I don’t see a lot of upside in any of them. It’s not like we are going to suddenly see a big uptick in price if we sell them next year. In any case, ticket revenue will be massively hit this season as well. We will be relatively more impacted than other clubs, so we are better off with cash in hand. So trim the squad aggressively to cut costs and improve the first 11. Gabriel and Willian are the first steps. We now need 2 mids are more sales.

My feelings exactly. Cut losses on deadwood and get their wages off the book.

Take a chance on running with a thin squad with a quality first XI supplemented by the academy for a season.

Hector linked with a €30m+ move to Juve. With the AMN offer being rejected I wonder if it is either or. If we can get €30m for Hector I'd take it in a heartbeat, even if I think he's become a little underrated on here.

Bellerin should go for closer to 40m. Theres hardly any decent right backs around, especially with his age and experience

I mean ultimately it depends on what the buyer is willing to pay. I can't believe Hector is the best Juve or PSG could get for €40m, or if they want to spend that much on a full back, but you never know.

If not, then the question becomes do you want to keep Hector rather than take €30m or thereabouts.

I do wonder if we will see a depressed market save for a few deals by a few clubs. If Chelsea and City really want a star, they’ll pay (near) full price. But everyone else will pay 60-70% of going rate. Global GDPs are down that much. Why would football spending be spared

Cancelo went for €65m

I meant for what Juve pay, they paid 37m for him. Man city is a different case for various reasons.

Even then Bellerin is better than him by some distance. Hes had some brilliant but inconsistent attacking displays but 8 times out of 10 an absolute tragedy in defence

I agree that it is too low, but if that €30 mil helps us to land partey or Aouar, you do it don’t you?

It's very low-end, but you'd have to factor in the ACL I guess. He was slowing down even before that injury too. Odds must be decent on the other knee going in the next 2-3 years.

The alternative would be to sell him to one of the oil clubs who are nearly the only ones being ale to pay top fees right now. There were rumours about PSG weren't there?
