Yup. It’s really going to be fine. We are developing Saka, ESR and Martinelli for the long term. Azeez is almost ready to step up and he looks every bit a master technician

Who would you get thats better for £20m? We also have homegrown players to consider. Willock is clearly one of the better ones.

I think AMN is more useful to us as a CM than Willock.

Speaking of Maitland-Niles he's having a great game against Villa right now. Working like a dog in midfield, won the penalty they equalised from, and he just forced Martinez into making a very good save. He's yet another player who should have gotten many more opportunities for us this season, just like Willock.

AMN looks so good but we have the likes of Bellerin , Xhaka , Ceballos and Elneny stinking up the place. Don't know what Arteta is smoking.

Never sell anyone just to make room for a player from Ligue 1, unless it's one of the select few who are already top class. But they won't come here anyway.

Ceballos is about half as good as Maitland-Niles, and that's being generous to him. There's been some form of mass psychosis going on at Arsenal when it comes to people cheering the choices Arteta makes. For every one he gets right he gets another half dozen wrong.

The reality of the situation is we need to get rid of Xhaka, Elneny and Ceballos. The smart thing would be to buy a top class Xhaka replacement and then fill out the rest of the midfield spots with Willock and one of AMN or Guendouzi.

I’m not a big fan of Xhaka and Elneny. But I think we have vastly different ideas of the Academy.

I love our Academy. It has proven itself as one of the premier fountains of talent. We have Saka, ESR, Malen, Bennacer and Gnabry to have emerged in recent years. So its quality is proven at both Arsenal at other big clubs like Milan and Bayern. The way we should approach the Academy is we should only be skimming the very best talents from the top, and then selling the best. That will keep competition high and ensure we keep the standard high at Arsenal. So keep your Sakas, ESRs, Baloguns and Azeezs. And sell the rest. That’s the sign of a healthy meritocratic environment.
