It looks like absolute turmoil over there with the local Newcastle paper calling for the manager to be sacked the other day!

I think they are down and Fulham (who face them at home on the last day!) will stay up.

In their last 9 games they play Spurs, West Ham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Leicester and City, not to mention Fulham on the final game of the season.

I think they're in trouble. Both our loan boys are getting relegated.

I think so too. Their run-in is murderous, and Fulham by contrast have been pretty decent for most of the season after a bad start.

Hayden might not be an elite midfielder but he's clever and well-rounded, the type who sets the tempo. They can't replace him. Just look what their fans are saying underneath that tweet.

To us and many others pretty much. The top 2 Google searches are 'maupay you're a cheat' and 'maupay arsenal'. To him though it might be getting Brentford promoted as their best player reportedly, with other accolades to boot. A club that stands a good chance to be promoted again this summer, this time into the EPL. Would be amusing if that happened and Maupay led his team to demotion.

I was never as down on the possibility of signing him as others on here seemingly where, but that being said I wouldn't pay much attention to the so called football observatory and their algorithms. They recently valued Rashford as the worlds most valuable player at €150-200m (yes, above Halaand and Mbappe), and somehow deemed that Werner, despite being shit since the move to Chelsea, has more than doubled in value since to €90-120m. The good news is they only valued Odegaard at between €30-40m so we shouldn't have any problems in the summer.

I don’t know what CIES is doing but I don’t think I ever see Jorginho topping many midfielder metrics. It’s not clear to me what those guys are actually doing. Their whole system is a black box
