I think it would taint it for sure. I felt the same way about Eboue's shameless dive in the Champions League final.

I think the fact that you feel the need to change the situation in your comparison in order to get someone to disagree speaks for itself. Instead of asking "would you complain if Auba did this all season long" which would be the equivalent you ask me what I would think if Auba did this one time and if we would lose the EL final if he didn't.

I don't mind my players being cunning, Tierney has shown that side to him recently and I love it. If nothing else it needs to be done to balance out the decisions you don't get in your favour.

Kane is something else though, especially those potentially neck breaking challenges. What's worse is the media outright refuse to criticise him for it.

He wouldn't get it. And neither would Salah, Mahrez, Pogba, etc Kane isn't clever he's just protected more than everyone else and is a massive cheat.

That's probably the main point actually. One thing is not blaming Kane for doing it, but to think that the reason he gets away with stuff other players don't is because he's clever is something else. What exactly is more clever about his dives than everyone else's? Like Qwiss says, he doesn't need to be clever.

Maybe it would, maybe it wouldn't. There's no way to predict alternative timelines. I think everyone has a responsibility, both collective and individual, to maintain sportmanship.

Anyway, everyone is capable of a weak moment every now and then, we can't demand perfection from people. When it comes to someone like Kane it's not just the blatant cheating that he has put into system that makes you dislike him, it's also the way he tends to back into defenders once they're in the air. He's going to kill someone one day. He's one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever seen on a football pitch.

There's nothing wrong with players not being naive schoolboys who think the refs are actually good at their job. Forget about the potentially career enders he pulls every other match week, even shielding the ball from an opponent is a completely different story to what Kane is doing, 80% of his goals are pens he's more interested in faking fouls than playing the fucking ball.

Kane is different. It's fine being clever to cheat the ref sometimes, but Kane does it consistently and actually sometimes endanger the defenders around him.

The worst thing about it is, people like Suarez and Neymar for example they cheat and they admit, Kane pretends innocent and outrightly shows that he hate cheating. Fucking wanker. He really is one of the most disgusting cunts in football
