He'd be perfect for City, but yeah doesn't seem like a good fit for Klopp's midfield of goons. To be fair Klopp has been done over by injuries or losing his best enforcers to the defence in Henderson and Fabinho, so we probably haven't seen what his plan for Thiago was.

Folks are questioning why Liverpool are suddenly so poor need to look at their line up, they started with Jones, who looks way out of his depth, a 38yr old Milner and Wijnaldum in midfield and then Kabak and Henderson in defence.

To be honest Liverpool have bigger problems going forward at the moment.

A team with mane, firminho, Salah, TAA, Robertson etc can’t seem to open teams up anymore.

The injuries are long over due. Look at us over years. How many big games has Salah missed? mane missed? Since they have joined, they miss very few big matches. It just happens that their central defence is out. They never had depth and were relying on sheer luck to continue injury free
