I'm fine with people underrating the good players we have because it makes it easier to hang on to them for a while longer. I reckon if Leno, Tierney and Saka were rated according to ability we'd have a hellish time trying to fend off the vultures right now. Things have even been quiet about Smith-Rowe who only has a short time left on his contract. It's a sign that one has any money to spend too I guess.

They just buy whatever they want, but to be fair I don't think I saw Dias wishlisted on here like we do Upamecano for example.

Saw him wishlisted a few times after he was linked to us during the Emery era. But yep, not as raved highly as the next big thing like Upa.

Dias is always a quality player, but nobody knew how he would performed from the step up in Portguese league.

Regarding the keepers, doubt anyone can say with a straight face Leno has had a better season than Martinez all things considered. There's not a world of difference between them though.

How many clubs can afford to spend €68m on a player like Dias though? I'm pretty sure if we tried to sign him for that we'd all have freaked out due to the risk factor, its barely a risk for City and thats the difference.

Pretty sure it was because it was City they fleeced them.

He was touted to be around 40m the season we were linked with him, although that's still a lot of money for a defender barely proven.

He's the defensive wonder kid of the year last year on FM20. So I reckon its not an amazing find. Anyone with £40 to get a copy of the game could have found him.

I would like to see Saka with these City players. Not that I wish a transfer into happening, but I suspect if he played there, he would be a celebrity

Think he has done really well to resist the temptation of pushing for a move away when he wasn't getting time. He saw Sancho go and light up the Bundesliga while he sat on the bench. Must be a level headed boy. He trusted the coach he was learning from and he is only improving right now.

Also helps that he’s Man City through and through unlike Sancho who’s a South London boy.

Thiago is a liability for Liverpool, thought he would give them another dimension but he doesn't suit them at all. He a City type player.

Arsenal would NEVER have that goal overturned. Can't help but feel that Leicester too often get the benefit of the doubt these days
