How long has this been said about Pogba? 7-8 years? Pogba can be good for short periods here and there. He isn't capable of playing well for an extended period of time. I think that is proven beyond any doubt by now.

He's a bit like Ozil, he needs to be surrounded by good players to perform at his best.
He went from playing with Pirlo to McTominay. Now that he is playing alongside Fernandes he also looks better. Ozil was a different player when he was surrounded by Cazorla / Sanchez.

Though he isn't going to carry the team, and is unlikely to keep this up long term.

TBH United are kind of fucked either way with Pogba. Their form is largely based on him giving a shit for a change but at the same time they'd be pretty stupid not to try and move him on in the summer.

Right, those two have been among the best players in the world over the last decade. William at his best was a wet fart by comparison. What a surprise that he'd stink even worse when he got old.

I mean you'd think those 2 are older and need more time to adapt to a new league. I guess class is permanent.

We get someone just past 31 and was a model pro in the league, turn out to be so bad. I mean if you are signing oldies you have to expect them to hit the ground running because chances are they are only going to get worse.

I don't think it has much to do with age to be perfectly honest. Pretty much everyone in the squad bar 2 or 3 were playing well below their level. Auba and Laca looked about 39yrs of age too.

The irony is with a run in the side now he'd probably look half decent, but he's lost his spot, so I reckon that's pretty much that for him.
