There will probably be plenty of opportunities Claude, but I doubt we will be ready for them.
It feels like we always enter the season unprepared only to see a bunch of other clubs capitalise on circumstances. In 2016 it was Leicester. Last year it was Chelsea who got into Champions League ahead of us with a rookie manager and a squad full of kids. This year things have been wide open again but we have failed to throw our hat into the ring. The squad is good enough to be in the top four, and if we had gotten things in order last summer we might have been.
